"Ebony Weekend" is an annual conference hosted by  Black Student Union of the University of Wisconsin Platteville.  We celebrate the generations in the black community and seek to bridge the gaps between them.  Through workshops, social interactions, and inspiring lecturers, substantial dialogue will focus on solutions to the common problems that plague the black community. We will also embrace the multigenerational perspectives to find a united front!!!

Past conference participants have ranged in age from 17 to 72. We strive to contract the youth to gain a better appreciation for the “Civil Rights & Black Power” generations while seeking to promote an understanding about the "Hip-Hop & Millennium generations" as well. We Would love to see you there!
